Good news for gamers looking to pick up some great games on the cheap as well as help charity as the Humble Indie Bundle #4 is off and running. For those unawares, you can either watch the video below or read the fancy words that are coming after this paragraph.
The Humble Indie Bundle basically goes like this: there are seven games that you can purchase and the money you spend goes to charity (in this case Child’s Play and The Red Cross). Here’s the catch, and it’s the best catch you have ever heard of: you can pay whatever you want. Really. There is one person that donated $3,500 and is super awesome, but the average right now is $5.18. Five bucks for seven games! Come on!
The games on the list all look to be pretty awesome (You can check out videos at the site):
- Gratuitous Space Battles
- Cave Story+
- Jamestown
- Bit.Trip Runner
- Super Meat Boy
- Shank
- Nightsky HD
The last two things you will want to note are that these games are DRM free (so download as many times as you want) AND they will give you a code to download them all in Steam if that is your persuasion AND the games will work on PC, Mac, and Linux (was that three things?). Really how can you go wrong with this? YOU CAN’T, THAT’S HOW.
